The Group

The Ingram Group was founded by Tom Ingram after leaving his post as Deputy to the Governor and Chief of Staff to then-Governor Lamar Alexander. Thanks to some good friends and good advice, Tom realized that if he could do anything, he’d hang a shingle and put up a sign that said: “Crisis manager, problem solver". He did just that in Nashville in 1983.

Since that time, the Group has enjoyed success as the go-to strategic consulting and lobbying firm, focused on two core objectives—solving problems and maximizing opportunities. Our Washington, D.C. office was launched in early 2010 with the same strategic goals in mind.
