MARCILLE DURHAM

Marcille Durham is a veteran of both government and public relations, with more than 30 years of experience in the public and private sectors. First serving The Ingram Group as a special projects coordinator and grassroots campaign specialist, Durham went on to establish state practice areas in education, economic development, and environmental policy. She is also certified in Public Engagement Leadership and has organized public involvement activities for some of the state’s largest economic development and environmental projects. She also has decades of experience representing a wide variety of clients on Tennessee’s Capitol Hill such as Google, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, CHI Memorial Healthcare, National Heritage Academies, Johnson Controls, Behavioral Health Group and Pilot Flying J. Historically, Durham played a key role in coordinating the State’s participation in the Atlanta Olympic Games’ Kayaking event on Tennessee’s Ocoee River, led economic development visioning for the Ocoee Corridor, coordinated community involvement activities for one of the EPA Region IV’s largest cleanup projects in Polk County’s Copper Basin, and assisted in establishing the NFL’s Tennessee Titans season ticket-seat license program. Prior to joining The Group, Marcille served on the staff of then-Governor Lamar Alexander.
