EVAN MEYERS
Evan Meyers joined The Ingram Group in 2025, after working directly at the intersection of elected officials and public/private stakeholders under Georgia’s gold dome. Evan understands and embraces the importance of building relationships across negotiating tables, aisles, and borders. Whether it be policy development, communication guidance, or improvement of business efficiencies, he is capable of building solutions steeped in integrity.
Prior to joining The Ingram Group, Evan served as Deputy Executive Counsel to Georgia’s Governor, Brian Kemp. Across two terms he provided legal counsel to the Governor and the official office, prepared legislation for inclusion and presentation in the administration’s legislative agenda, reviewed and recommended the approval or denial of regulations proposed by Georgia’s professional licensing boards, and coordinated with elected officials in matters invoking executive authority at the local level. During his time with the Kemp Administration, he was appointed to serve as the chairman of the Georgia Opioid Settlement Advisory Commission and as a member of the Judicial Legal Defense Fund Commission.
Evan has a decade of legal experience that spans across the three branches of government. He began his career in the federal judiciary as law clerk to the Honorable John S. Dalis (United State Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Georgia) where he embraced the opportunity to reduce complex legal arguments into pragmatic draft opinions
After returning to Atlanta, Evan entered the legislative arena as a staff attorney for the House Budget and Research Office with the Georgia House of Representatives. Facilitating the administration of the House Committees on Judiciary, Banks and Banking, Ethics, and Code Revision, he routinely engaged with stakeholders across a diverse array of policy areas and advised committee chairs and members throughout the vetting process.
Outside of the public sector, Evan practiced general civil litigation in St. Simons Island, Georgia and served as a business advisor for independent medical providers across the country.
Evan earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and his Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Evan and his wife Carly have three young children. The Meyers family recently made the move to Knoxville, Tennessee, where they are eager to immerse themselves in their new community.
