DUSTIN SUMMERS
Dustin Summers joined The Ingram Group in 2024 after serving in multiple leadership capacities across the healthcare sector. He brings a unique set of experiences and perspectives to The Group and serves as a valuable member of our team.
Prior to The Ingram Group, Summers served as the Vice President of Partnerships at Main Street Health, a high-growth startup company focused on value-based care (VBC) in rural communities. In this role, he worked with rural primary care providers as they worked to retain their independence and navigate challenges and opportunities associated with care delivery.
From 2014 to 2022, he represented over 200 health care providers as the Executive Director of the West Tennessee Physicians’ Alliance (WTPA), an independent physicians’ association headquartered in Jackson, TN. He also established and served as the Chief Executive Officer of West Tennessee Clinical Partners, a Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) that generated over $40 million in healthcare savings between 2018 and 2021.
While in Washington, D.C., Summers served as the Development Manager for Young Invincibles, a non-profit dedicated to advancing opportunities for underrepresented young people between the ages of 18 and 34. In 2009, he joined the staff of the National Rural Health Association as their Policy and Program Services Manager where he coordinated the efforts of state-based rural health initiatives on behalf of 20,000 rural health stakeholders.
He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee-Martin and holds a Master's Degree in Education from Lipscomb University in Nashville. He earned an additional Master’s Degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Global Health from George Washington University.
In addition to his professional interests, he has served on the Board of Jackson (TN) Chamber of Commerce and as the president of the Jackson (TN) Symphony Orchestra. Summers is a native of Paris, Tennessee and a resident of Chattanooga where he lives with his wife Whitney and daughter Mary Grace.
