Amanda joined The Ingram Group after extensive public and private sector work. She understands how things operate at the federal and state levels and knows how to get things done efficiently and effectively. Today, Amanda has over ten years of experience working on a variety of policy issues and priorities at the highest levels of Congress and Executive Branches. She services a diverse set of clients in a number of ways, including: maintaining beneficial relationships; developing effective messaging products; preparing clients for congressional meetings, hearings, and testimony; and activating grassroot campaigns or coalition building in support of advocacy efforts. Amanda is able to identify problems quickly and produce a written work product that can be shared with the Hill and used by clients for their own internal or external communications. Her energy, responsiveness, and proactiveness are unparalleled, and Amanda brings strong communication skills and a well-developed reputation on Capitol Hill to The Ingram Group and its clients.

Before joining The Ingram Group, Amanda served as the Director of Government Affairs for the American Conservative Union (ACU), which sponsors the largest and most influential political conference in the nation, CPAC. In her position, she managed the ACU Foundation’s ratings of Congress, the ratings of all 50 state legislatures, and the coordination of policy discussions at events in D.C. and across the country. In addition, Amanda managed the ACU Political Action Committee and candidate endorsements.

Prior to her position at ACU, Amanda served on the Government Affairs team for Anheuser-Busch Companies, a fortune 500 company. She supported the team’s efforts in articulating company positions to policymakers on a wide range of legislative and executive initiatives and assisted with budgeting, communications, and special events.
